Bawean Bakery (once Sweetheart) has run since 1946—one of Bandung's oldest bakeries, rooted in Dutch tradition with recipes kept across generations. It began on Jalan Sumatera, moved to Jalan Bawean No. 4 in Merdeka in 1974, then opened branches on Martadinata and Gandapura; the Bawean Bakery name has been used since 1995.
